But, the firmware update tool (to check and see if it is working ) will not work. AT ALL. So undeterred, I went ahead and plugged it into my OBD port on my 2014 limited and told the TIS software to connect to vehicle.
Techstream Not Working How To Set StuffI honestly figured it was because I had no idea how to set stuff up in windows.
The original owner gave me one wireless keyfob and indicated that it had stopped working some time ago. After replacing the battery and verifying that it did not work; I started looking online for ways to reprogram it. Ive tried all the procedures that are currently listed online for getting the 4runner into programming mode. However, none of these work I cant get the 4runner to go into programming mode. I came across several postings where people indicated that they were able to program wireless keyfobs with the Techstream software. It came with the Toyota Techstream software, version 10.10.018. Ive gotten the software and cable working and I am able to communicate with my 4runner. Techstream Not Working Registration Isnt ShowingThe problem that I am having is that the wireless key registration isnt showing up in the Techstream software. It is my understanding that it should be under the main body option, but I dont see that option when I run Techstream. The only options I get are engine and ECT, SRS Airbag and Immobiliser. My question is.does anyone know why the main body option is not showing up in my Techstream On a side note, I did successfully program two additional Master keys with the Immobiliser option. Any help you could provide would be appreciated I am trying to avoid going to the dealer to have them rip me off to program a keyfob. Thanks. BTY, this blog contains Techstream lite v11.20.019 download link, while please note it claims the techstream key is only for the VIP members of them. I would like to check that the cable functions and what firmware version is on the cable. Techstream Not Working Install And TheGot it to install and the chord to be recognized, but was getting the dreaded Unable to connect to VCI message. Finally as someone mentioned in this thread and on other sites, I realized that one of my folders was barely mislabeled. Once that was fixed I finally got in and was able to customize. Big thing was turning off the annoying ECO-bar on the display. I was hoping there would be an option for one button unlock, but I didnt see that option available on there. ![]() I installed the TIS software 12.01.019 and got it working no problem. The seller on ebay did tech support and got it working on my Windows 10 tablet. It is not working. ![]() But, the firmware update tool (to check and see if it is working ) will not work. AT ALL.
